Requirements: Client is seeking a highly motivated individual interested in applying their skills as a Sr. Financial Analyst to partner with the Research & Development (R&D) organization to provide financial, analytical and business insight. In this role, you will be expected to provide recommendations to management for establishing and achieving financial objectives. Additionally, you will work with the centralized finance team to deliver financial reporting and provide insight and commentary on results.

Specific responsibilities include: - Develop the R&D budget, forecasts, reports of actual spending results, variance analysis, and generation of operating reports. - Provide monthly reports and analysis to management and executives. - Assist in project budgeting and planning. - Develop and maintain financial and operating metrics. - Assist in the financial analysis of new business opportunities and business plans. - Assist with and/or facilitate special projects, analysis or reports. - Identify areas for improvement and streamline processes to transform the organization.

Skills - 5+ years of financial analysis experience - Strong PC, analytical, interpersonal and presentation skills are essential. - Experience with SAP and Hyperion is preferred. - Prior experience working with engineering, research or a project accounting is a plus.

Education: BS degree in Finance or related discipline. MBA preferred.
