Client is seeking a strategic finance business partner to serve as their Business Advisor to our Automotive Systems Division (ASD.) In this role, you provide analytical expertise and deliver high-value financial service to operational departments in ASD. Influence critical decisions by leveraging your knowledge of the automotive industry and through persuasive financial analyses. Create financial tools, develop models, and standardize key operating processes to maximize the efficiency of ASD's worldwide operations. Lead the annual planning and forecasting process and cost improvement initiatives. Ensure that ASD's financial and metric reporting aligns with the changing needs of the business. Other assignments include the evaluation and recommendation relating to business opportunities, engineering investments, financial regulations, or similar projects.

Skills: 10+ years experience in financial analysis positions. The ideal candidate will have a background that includes business unit financial responsibility, and a track record of continuously improving the development of financial information. Budget experience, and monthly reporting and variance analysis are critical along with the ability to work independently. Must be able to understand complex operational issues and work effectively with business colleagues. Must be able to analyze business situations and complete ad hoc analysis as required. Automotive industry experience where candidate has supported major development projects is highly preferred. Education: BS in Accounting, Business or related required. MBA preferred.
